Anderson Depee - Coach
AKA the Game Warden

Born and raised in Tuttle, OK I played multiple sports from a young age. From there, I was

blessed enough to play Division II football here in Oklahoma, where I was a four-year starter and

graduated with honors and a degree in Mathematics with a minor in Physics. Once the glory

days of college sports were done, I found myself in Globo gyms both bored and plateauing in my

training. That is when I was introduced to CrossFit from an old friend and teammate.

I was very anti-CrossFit and only showed up to prove it wasn’t for me. Long story short, it took

one class and I was laying on my back wondering what just happened. It brought back the

camaraderie and competitiveness of football, and I had been “working out” for roughly 10 years

and I had never experienced that kind of result.

I joined Native in late 2017, and I found my home away from home. The members are the best,

and I can call them all friends. I have a passion for teaching and coaching others and was given

the opportunity to coach for Koda early 2019. The best part about coaching is when I see the

“click.” It’s hard work, but if I can help someone achieve a goal, that’s the best feeling. If you

take my class, my goal is for you to have fun AND to learn something new that can improve

your fitness.

Other than coaching regular classes at Native, I also do 1-on-1 assessments to help members

attain certain goals. Whether it is being better at the Olympic lifts, or getting your very first

pull-up, I want to help you get there. You can always reach out to me through the website or

come up to me at the gym when you come try us out!
